มาตรฐานสากล GS1 สามารถนำมาประยุ กตใชกันทั่ วโลกรวมกับระบบ-
การตรวจสอบย อนกลั บ (Traceabi l ity) ในเรื่องของการบ งชี้ ไมใหเกิ ด
ความซ้ ำซอนกั นด วยเลขหมายประจำตัวสินค าสากลที่ใชบงชี้ สิ นคาและ
การบริ การเลขหมายประจำตำแหน งที่ตั้ ง (Global Location Number;
GLN) ใช ในการบงชี้ สถานที่ โดยเลขหมายทั้ง 2 แบบนี้สามารถนำไปเก็บ
บันทึกด วยสัญลักษณบาร โคดในรู ปแบบทั้ง 1 มิติ หรือ 2 มิติ (1D หรือ 2D
Barcode) เพื่ อบงชี้ขอมูลทางการคาในโซอุปทานไดทั่วโลก เปนการบั นทึก
ข อมูลอย างอั ตโนมั ติ ไว ในระบบฐานขอมู ล สามารถทำการสงผานและ
แลกเปลี่ ยนขอมูลตามความตองการสอบถามข อมูลในระบบการตรวจสอบ
ย อนกลับที่เกี่ยวของกับตั วสินคาและการบริ การ เชน ข อมูลของหมายเลข
Batch/Lot วั นที่ผลิต/หมดอายุของสิ นคา ผูผลิ ตสินคาสามารถใชเลขหมาย
ทั้ง 2 แบบนี้ เพื่อประโยชนในการติดตามตัวสินคา (Tracking) และตามสอบ
ที่มาของสินคา (Tracing) ไดตลอดทั้งโซอุปทาน
การตรวจสอบคุ ณภาพบารโค ดเพื่อการใชงานอยางมีประสิทธิภาพ
การตรวจสอบคุณภาพบาร โคด (Barcode verification) เป นการตรวจสอบ
คุ ณภาพสั ญลักษณ บาร โค ดด วยเครื่ องมื อตรวจสอบเฉพาะที่เรี ยกว า
Barcode verifier ซึ่ งเปนการวัดคาการสะทอนแสงของสัญลักษณ บารโคด
โดยใชแสงสี แดงเหมือนกับเครื่องสแกนทั่วไปและเปรียบเที ยบคาที่ตรวจวั ด
The Global GS1 Standard:
The Application for Traceability System
The global GS1 standard can support for traceability solutions around
the world. They provide the globally unique identification for all of
products and services with GTIN and can indicate the location by
using Global Location Number (GLN). The aforementioned Barcode
symbols as the data carriers to contain these numbers can be used
by GS1 Barcode Systems as “1D or 2D Barcode”. They can identify
the commercial objectives information throughout the supply chain
and automatic identification & data capture for transmit and share
information related to the goods and services such as batch/lot number,
manufacturing date, expiration date of product. Manufacturers can track
forward the movement of goods and trace backward the history through
specified stages of the extended supply chain.
Barcode Verification
Barcode verification is the quality checking of the barcode symbol with
specific detection tool called Barcode verifier, which measures the
reflection value of the symbol as the red light general scanner. The
measured values then will be compared with the GS1 standards and
ISO / IEC 15416, including variable factors such as decodability, symbol
contrast, reflectance, edge contrast, modulation and defects.
Case Study: Barcode Application in Food Industry
Pon Yang Kham Livestock Cooperative has applied the traceability
application on computer systems for keeping the transaction records
by using GS1 standard barcode systems. It provides the automate
data capture by support throughout the Beef Supply Chain Processing.

คุณสมบัติ ของผลิตภั ณฑเพิ่มเติม มักพบการนำสั ญลักษณ บารโคดนี้ มาประยุกตใชบนฉลากปดที่ ตัวสินค าเพื่อใชประโยชน ในการตรวจสอบยอนกลับ
ซึ่งการระบุรายละเอียดขอมูลแตเพียงเลขหมายประจำตัวสินคาสากล (Global Trade Item Number; GTIN) อาจไมเพี ยงพอ จำเปนตองอาศัยขอมูลอื่นๆ
เพิ่มเติมในการบ งชี้เฉพาะสำหรับผลิ ตภัณฑ หรือกลุมผลิ ตภัณฑ เชน เลขลำดับในการขนสง (Serial Shipping Container Code; SSCC) หมายเลข
Batch/Lot วันที่ผลิ ต วันหมดอายุ เปนตน GS1-128 บารโคดสามารถใชในการระบุบงชี้ ขอมูลเพิ่มเติมไดมากมายหลากหลายประเภท ดวยเอกลักษณ
พิเศษ คือ สามารถสั งเกตไดจากหมายเลขบาร โคดมีตัวเลขภายในเครื่องหมายวงเล็ บบริเวณดานหน าสุดของชุดข อมูล เลขหมายในเครื่องหมายวงเล็ บ
ดังกลาว เรียกวา Application Identifier หรือ AI เปนตัวเลขที่ บงชี้ถึงความหมายของชุ ดขอมูลที่ตามหลังมา โดยมีโครงสรางดังนี้
GS1-128 Barcode is the basis standard barcode of GS1 which is the most commonly used all over the world to identify the additional product
information. Product packaging labels with GS1-128 Barcode can be applied to use for GS1 Traceability solution. Since Global Trade Item
Number (GTIN) could not be enough to provide each product information, it is essential to use the GS1-128 Barcode for identifying the
additional data of the products or product groups identification such as the serial number of transportation (Serial Shipping Container Code;
SSCC), batch or lot number, manufacturing date, expiration date, and so on. GS1-128 Barcode can identify the various types of data by using
the numbers within parentheses “( )” symbols in front of the series. The number within parentheses is called Application Identifier (AI) which
indicates the meaning of the information behind it. The structure of GS1-128 Barcode is as followed;
