การระบุ LCN และบารโค ด ชวยให สามารถแยกแยะฉลากสินคาได
อยางมีประสิทธิ ภาพ
จากเดิมที่ เราเรียกชื่ อฉลากตามชนิดสิ นคา เชน น้ ำสม น้ ำองุน แตเมื่อสิ นคา
มีความซับซอนมากขึ้น เราอาจมีสินคาใหมเปนน้ ำสมผสมน้ำองุน ดังจะเห็ นไดจาก
ชาพรอมดื่ มที่มีอยูหลากหลายรสชาติ ในตลาด ความสั บสนในการเรียกชื่อและ
จัดการดานฉลากสินค าจึงเกิดขึ้นอยางหลีกเลี่ยงไมได ดั งนั้นผู ผลิตจึงใช วิธี การ-
อางอิงแบบของฉลากที่ตองการดวยระบบ Label Control Number (LCN) ซึ่งใช
ตัวเลขหรือการระบุบารโค ดในการจำแนกฉลากแตละรูปแบบที่ แตกตางกัน
การตรวจสอบ LCN
การนำระบบ LCN มาใช ชวยแกไขป ญหาความสับสนในการเรียกชื่อฉลากได
แตก็มี ป ญหาใหมเพิ่ มขึ้ นมาอีก นั่ นคือ การตรวจสอบความถูกต องของ LCN
ซึ่งอาจตรวจสอบดวยตาไดในกรณีที่ฉลากมี ความแตกตางกันอยางชัดเจน แตหาก
ฉลากมีความแตกต างที่ไม เดนชั ด โดยเฉพาะในกรณีที่สิ นคาเหมือนกั นแตฉลาก
มี ภาษาแตกตางกันเพื่ อการสงออก หรือการตรวจสอบในกระบวนการบรรจุที่ มี
ความเร็ วสูง การตรวจสอบดวยสายตามนุ ษยแทบจะเป นไปไม ไดเลย ดั งนั้น
กลองถายภาพความเร็วสูง (Smart camera) จึงเขามามีบทบาทในการตรวจสอบ
ความถู กต องของ LCN หรือบาร โค ดบนฉลากอยางแพรหลาย อย างไรก็ตาม
การใชงานระบบตรวจสอบด วยกล องก็ ยังมีสิ่ งที่ตองคำนึ งถึง เช น การตั้ งค า

Nowadays’ market ing clutter in highly compet i t ive
markets brings more difficulty to production. Simple
procedures such as labeling become more complicated.
Manufacturers have to design the different kinds of label
of one product which has various flavors in order to cut
through the clutter and increase competitive advantage.
Moreover, the label could be made in various languages
to export to other countries because of the free trade
agreement and boundaryless marketing. How can we
prevent an incorrect labeling?
LCN and Barcode
We previously identify the labels according to the products, for
example, orange juice and grape juice. However, it becomes harder to
manage labels by the same method due to the complex flavors of
recent products as we can see from ready-to-drink (RTD) tea in the
market. As a result, the Label Control Number (LCN) or barcode
identification system is used to identify the different kinds of label.
LCN System
LCN system can solve the label naming problem, but it has another
problem of verification. To verify if the LCN is correctly used can be done
by human eyes in case that the labels are obviously different. In any case,
especially when verifying labels of the same products which are in different
languages or in the high speed filling process, high speed camera is
necessary for LCN/barcode inspection. Smart camera plays a key role in
label verification process. However, the smart camera cannot be accurate
if the configurations of system are wrong from the beginning.
