‘วังรี เฟรช’ จากจินตนาการสู่โรงเรือนปลูกผักอัจฉริยะที่ให้ความสำคัญกับผู้บริโภคเป็นอันดับหนึ่ง

จุดเริ่มต้นของ Plant Factory
ในปี 2558 คุณกฤษณะ ธรรมวิมล ซึ่งในขณะนั้นได้ดำรงตำแหน่ง กรรมการกลุ่มหอการค้ากลุ่มจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบนและวิศวกรคอมพิวเตอร์ ได้มีโอกาสได้เข้าร่วมหลักสูตรของกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยมีโจทย์คือการสร้าง New S-curve (แนวทางการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมใหม่) กล่าวคือ เป็นการวิจัยเพื่อให้เกิดอาชีพใหม่ที่ไม่เคยมีมาก่อนและเป็นที่ต้องการ รวมทั้งต่อยอดจากความเชี่ยวชาญเดิมที่ผู้ร่วมโครงการมีอยู่ โดยสำหรับคุณกฤษณะแล้ว สิ่งที่เชี่ยวชาญที่สุดคงหนีไม่พ้นวิศวกรรมทางคอมพิวเตอร์ และที่สำคัญที่สุดนั้น อาชีพใหม่นี้จะต้องเกี่ยวโยงกับอุตสาหกรรมที่มี GDP สูงสุดในจังหวัดที่ผู้ร่วมโครงการอาศัยอยู่ สำหรับจังหวัดเชียงใหม่แล้วภาคเกษตรคือส่วนที่ก่อให้เกิด GDP สูงสุด โดยในระหว่างการเข้าร่วมโครงการนี้ คุณกฤษณะได้ไปศึกษาดูงานที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น และที่นั่นเองที่คุณกฤษณะได้รู้จักกับ ‘Plant Factory’ หรือ โรงเรือนปลูกพืชอัจฉริยะ จึงเกิดเป็นไอเดียในการทำเป็นแบบแผนธุรกิจให้กับโครงการที่เข้าร่วมอยู่นี้ ซึ่งผู้บริหารในกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์เองก็ได้เล็งเห็นว่า ‘Plant Factory’ นี้สามารถเกิดเป็นอาชีพได้จริง พร้อมมอบงบประมาณเพิ่มเติมเพื่อให้คุณกฤษณะสร้าง Plant Factory นี้เป็นให้กลายเป็นอาชีพในอนาคต ซึ่งนับจากวันนั้นต่อมาอีก 3 ปี คือช่วงเวลาที่ท้าทาย
Plant Factory เต็มรูปแบบแห่งแรก
เมื่อปลายปี 2564 ที่ผ่านมา สถานการณ์ต่างๆ เริ่มคลี่คลายและธุรกิจต่างเริ่มกลับมาฟื้นตัวอีกครั้ง คุณกฤษณะจึงตัดสินใจสร้าง Plant Factory ที่อำเภอบางใหญ่ จังหวัดนนทบุรี ภายใต้แบรนด์ DiStar Fresh ซึ่งสามารถปลูกพืชโดยให้ผลผลิตมากกว่า 10 ตัน จากแปลงผักสูงประมาณ 6 เมตรในแนวตั้ง พร้อมระบบภายในที่คุณกฤษณะเป็นผู้ลงมือสร้างเอง…

The Beginning of Plant Factory
In 2015, Mr. Krisana Tamvimol, who was then a Director at the Upper Northern Provincial Chamber of Commerce and a computer engineer, participated in a course on the New S-Curve (to promote investment in the industrial sectors for the future) organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The course focused on discovering new career and business opportunities in demand by leveraging the participants’ existing skills. For Mr. Tamvimol, his skill and expertise are in computer engineering. But more importantly, this new opportunity needs to revolve around the industries that are the major contributors to the country’s GDP. During the course, Mr. Tamvimol learned about a Plant Factory or a smart greenhouse. He sparked an idea and developed the idea into a business proposal for the course. The directors and top executives of the Ministry saw opportunities to further develop the Plant Factory into a new career opportunity, so they provided him with funding to help him materialize the plan. It has been three years since then, and the journey has been challenging.
The First Complete Plant Factory
In late 2021, the crisis eased up, and businesses were recovering. Mr. Tamvimol decided to build a Plant factory in Bangyai, Nontaburi named DiStar Fresh. With its 6-meter-high vertical planting towers, the factory’s yields exceeded 10 tons. Mr. Tamvimol himself built the internal system….
