ระบบตรวจสอบฉลากดวยภาพที่ใช กันโดยทั่วไปจะประกอบดวยกล องถายภาพ-
ความเร็ วสูงที่ มีความสามารถเพิ่ มขึ้น คือ สามารถอานได ทั้ง LCN และบารโค ด
แต ก็ยังไม สามารถวิเคราะห องคประกอบอื่ นๆ ดังที่กลาวไปแลวได เชน ระยะ และ
ตำแหน งของฉลากที่ ติดอยูบนบรรจุภั ณฑ ทั้งนี้ เพราะการวิเคราะหตรวจสอบ
ความถูกตองของตำแหนงฉลากที่ ติดอยูบนบรรจุ ภัณฑจำเปนตองอาศัยซอฟต แวร
ที่จะตรวจสอบฉลากของบรรจุภั ณฑที่ เคลื่อนที่มาอยางรวดเร็วบนสายการผลิตที่มี
การสั่นสะเทื อนไดอยางถูกตอง นอกจากนี้ ระบบแสงสำหรับการถายภาพ (Lighting)
จะสามารถช วยให ภาพที่ไดมีความคมชั ดเพียงพอต อการวิเคราะห ความถูกตอง
ของ LCN บาร โค ด ตำแหนง และความถู กตองสวยงามของฉลากที่ ติดอยูบน
บรรจุ ภัณฑไดดวยการถายภาพในครั้งเดียว
ความถูกตองของการพิมพ
หนึ่ งในปญหาที่ ผู ผลิตกลัวมากที่สุ ด คือ ความผิ ดพลาดในการพิมพ วั นที่ผลิ ต
วั นหมดอายุ หรือเลขที่ผลิต (Lot number) เพราะเกี่ยวของโดยตรงกับการคุมครอง
ผูบริโภค ดั งนั้นจึงมักมองหาระบบที่สามารถตรวจสอบความถูกตองของการพิมพได
แต ในความเปนจริงปญหาไม ไดอยูที่เครื่องมื อตรวจสอบ แตตนเหตุอยูที่ วิธี การ-
พิ มพ การพิมพ ด วยเครื่ องอิ งค เจทความเร็วสูงมีขอดี ในแง ของความรวดเร็ ว
ในกระบวนการผลิ ต แตมี ขอดอยในเรื่ องของความคมชัด ดังนั้ นการตรวจสอบ
ความถูกตองของการพิ มพอยางละเอียดถึงขั้ นการอานคาตัวอักษรจึงเปนไปไดยาก
หรื อเปนไปไมไดเลย เพราะเครื่องไมสามารกแยกแยะตั วอักษรที่ คลายกั นอย าง
3 6 และ 8 ได อย างไรก็ดี หากไมไดแกไขวิ ธีการพิ มพ เราสามารถตรวจสอบ
ความสมบู รณของการพิ มพ ที่เป นสาระสำคัญได เชน จำนวนหลั กของตัวอั กษร
ซึ่งพอจะช วยใหเราลดสินคาที่มี ความผิดพลาดจากการพิมพ ที่ไม ถูกตองออกไป
ได อยางมี ประสิทธิภาพเลยทีเดียว
กล าวโดยสรุ ป ฉลากสิ นคามี ความสำคั ญเพิ่มขึ้ นอยางมาก จากการที่
ตลาดสิ นคาทุกประเภทต างก็มี การแขงขั นกันอยางเข มข นในปจจุบั น เพื่อให
ผลิตภัณฑของตนไดเปรี ยบคูแขง จึงมีการผลิ ตสินค าออกมาหลากหลายรูปแบบ
และรสชาติ ทำใหการจัดการกับฉลากสิ นคามีความซับซอนยิ่งขึ้ น เราจึงตองมีการ-
ระบุ LCN หรือบารโคดใหกับฉลากเหลานั้น ซึ่งก็ตองมีการตรวจสอบความถูกตอง
ของ LCN หรื อบารโคดด วยกลองถ ายภาพความเร็วสู ง (Smart camera) เมื่อมี
การระบุ รหั สที่ชี้เฉพาะสำหรั บฉลากและมี การตรวจสอบที่แม นยำแล ว สิ่งที่
ควรคำนึ งถึงอีกอยางหนึ่ง คื อ การตั้งคาที่ถูกตองใหกับเครื่องมือ และควรมีระบบ
ป องกันการปรับตั้งค า “Double Blind Entry” เพื่อไมใหเกิดความผิดพลาด และ
ต องสูญเสี ยเวลาและทรั พยากรไปโดยเปลาประโยชน นอกจากนี้ หากสามารถ
ตรวจสอบความถูกต องของฉลากได ก็ จะยิ่งเพิ่มความไววางใจในการปกป อง
ผู บริโภค โดยอาศัยระบบตรวจสอบความถู กต องของฉลากดวยวิธี การถายภาพ
(Vision inspection) ที่ สามารถตรวจสอบความสมบูรณ ของการพิมพไดอย าง
มี ประสิ ทธิภาพด วย ดังนั้นหากต องการลงทุนไปกั บระบบตรวจสอบฉลาก
ควรศึกษาคุณสมบั ติและเปรียบเทียบความแตกตางของระบบตรวจสอบรู ปแบบตางๆ
ใหดี เพื่ อปองกันการลงทุนที่ ซ้ำซอน
system to ensure that customers can properly use the products in
accordance with the instruction.
The Right Label
Among the clutter of retailers’ shelves, the right position of product
label is crucial. Products with the incomplete or missing labels may
miss an opportunity to sell if consumers choose another product with
perfect label though the quality of products is the same. Unfortunately,
the products with defected labels will be remained on shelves and
finally expired. It would be better if we make an investment on label
verification system that not only can inspect LCN or barcode, but
also can reliably check for correct position and details on packaging
or labels in addition. This multifunctional system is called Vision
Inspection.
Generally, high speed camera used in Vision Inspection system
has ability to read both barcode and LCN. In order to precisely inspect
other components mentioned before, for instance, position of the label
placed on packaging in the high speed process, intelligent software is
required. Furthermore, the lighting system is advantageous for picture
shooting to increase the sharpness. This is of benefit to analyze that
the correct barcode or LCN is properly printed and positioned on the
labels in just one shot.
The Correct Printing
One of the problems faced by manufacturers is an incorrect printing of
manufacturing date, expiration date and lot number which are directly
related to consumer protection. Although the print inspection system
is a solution for some manufacturers, actually, the cause of printing
quality is printer. The high speed inkjet printer has an advantage in
speed while the sharpness is at a disadvantage. For that reason, it is
hard to inspect the text, especially texts that are in the similar figure
such as 3, 6 and 8. If we cannot improve the print method, we can at
least count the number of characters or letters and reject the product
which has an incomplete printing.
In conclusion, given the intensity of competition in today’s
market, the importance of product label is increasing. In order to get
an advantage over the competitors, a wide variety of product types
and flavors are produced, leading to the more complicated label
management. The LCN/barcode identification is used along with the
LCN/barcode inspection system, high speed camera (Smart camera).
Other than that, the right system configurations and configuration
restricted system “Double Blind Entry” should be kept in mind to
avoid wasting time and resources. Last but not least, the ability of
Vision Inspection to inspect the correct label and completeness of
printing can increasingly ensure consumer protection. Compare the
features and differences of many inspection systems before making
a decision can prevent overlapping investment.
