Grape Seed Extract^a คือ สารสกัดจากเมล็ดองุ่นขาวที่เก็บเกี่ยวได้จากเมืองแชมเปญประเทศฝรั่งเศส ซึ่งมีปริมาณโปรไซยานิดิน (Procyanidin) สูง ประกอบไปด้วยอนุพันธ์เดี่ยวของคาเทชิน (Catechin) อิพิคาเทชิน (Epicatechin) อนุพันธ์คู่ของโปรไซยานิดินและอนุพันธ์เชิงซ้อนที่สามารถระบุชนิดและควบคุมได้โดยการวิเคราะห์ด้วย HPLC

 

โปรไซยานิดินมีคุณสมบัติในการเป็นสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระสูง สามารถจับกับอนุมูลอิสระได้ดี อนุมูลอิสระนั้นถูกผลิตขึ้นตลอดเวลาจากการทำงานของเซลล์ภายในร่างกาย แต่หากถูกผลิตออกมาในจำนวนที่มากจนเกินไปก็จะส่งผลให้เกิดโรคได้ ^[1]

 

OPC จากเมล็ดองุ่นมีความสามารถในการจับกับอนุมูลอิสระได้สูง ยับยั้งการเสื่อมสภาพของเนื้อเยื่อ และการเสื่อมสภาพของ DNA ได้ดีกว่าเบต้าแคโรทีน วิตามินซี และวิตามินอี ^[2] โดยคุณสมบัติในการเป็นสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระของ Grape Seed Extract^a ได้รับการทดสอบทั้งในห้องทดลองและในสัตว์ทดลองของมหาวิทยาลัย Montpellier ในประเทศฝรั่งเศส ซึ่งพบว่า Grape Seed Extract^a มีค่าความสามารถในการจับอนุมูลอิสระ (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity; ORAC) สูง และยังสามารถยับยั้งการเกิดซูเปอร์ออกไซด์แอนไอออน (Superoxide anion) ภายในเซลล์ในหลอดทดลองได้อีกด้วย ^[3]

 

Grape Seed Extract^a is a highly standardized procyanidin extract, obtained from white grape seeds harvested exclusively in France, in Champagne area. It contains monomers of catechin and epicatechin, procyanidin dimers, trimers and polymers identified and controlled by HPLC test method.

 

Procyanidins have been reported to exhibit strong antioxidative and free radical scavenging activities. Free radical production occurs continuously in all cells as part of normal cellular function, but in excess free radical production might play a role in many diseases^[1].

 

Oligomeric procyanidins (OPC) from grape seeds have been shown to be a stronger free radical scavenger, inhibitor of tissue oxidation and DNA damage than ß-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E ^[2]. Specific antioxidant properties of Grape Seed Extract^a have been tested in vitro and in animal studies in collaboration with the Medical School and the Nutrition Department of the University of Montpellier, in France. Grape Seed Extract^a has a high ORAC value TE per g and can inhibit the production of superoxide anions in vitro on cells ^[3].

ข้อมูลจาก PR Newswire ระบุว่าตลาดผักและผลไม้แช่แข็งทั่วโลกมีแนวโน้มที่ดีขึ้น อันเป็นผลมาจากรูปแบบการบริโภคที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ตลอดจนความต้องการวัตถุดิบหรือส่วนผสม รวมทั้งกลิ่นรสใหม่ๆ ที่เพิ่มขึ้น ความต้องการผลิตภัณฑ์ในรูปแบบพร้อมรับประทานและเอื้อต่อความสะดวกสบายของผู้บริโภคที่เพิ่มขึ้นนี้มีส่วนขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตของตลาดผักและผลไม้แช่แข็ง โดยในช่วง 2-3 ปีที่ผ่านมา ตลาดผักและผลไม้แช่แข็งทั่วโลกมีความต้องการเพิ่มขึ้น และคาดว่าภายในปี 2570 จะแตะยอดถึง 751 ล้านตัน โดยมีอัตราการเติบโตเฉลี่ยสะสมอยู่ที่ร้อยละ 5.34 ต่อปี ตั้งแต่ปี 2559-2570

เบอร์รีและผลไม้สีแดง…ยังคงแรงฤทธิ์ฉุดไม่อยู่

กลุ่มของเบอร์รีและผลไม้สีแดงคาดว่าจะมีมูลค่าส่วนแบ่งตลาดถึงร้อยละ 53 ในปี 2565 โดยมีก็อัตราการเติบโตเฉลี่ยสะสมร้อยละ 4.8 ต่อปี ในปี 2558 กลุ่มเบอร์รีและผลไม้สีแดงมีมูลค่าสูงกว่า 965 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ และคาดว่าจะมีมูลค่าสูงขึ้นกว่า 1.3 พันล้านเหรียญสหรัฐภายในปี 2565 ในด้านเชิงปริมาณพบว่าในปี 2558 เบอร์รีและผลไม้สีแดงมีปริมาณผลผลิตเกือบ 849,000 ตัน และคาดว่าจะเพิ่มขึ้นอีกมากกว่า 1,000 ตันภายในปี 2565 การเติบโตในเชิงปริมาณของเบอร์รีและผลไม้สีแดงจะอยู่ที่อัตราการเติบโตเฉลี่ยสะสมร้อยละ 3.7 ต่อปีในระหว่างช่วงปี 2559-2565

จะเห็นได้ว่าเมียนมามีศักยภาพด้านตลาดมาก โดยเฉพาะกับคนไทยและสินค้าไทย แต่ปัญหามีอยู่ว่า ผู้ประกอบการเข้าใจตลาดเมียนมาหรือไม่ เข้าใจเมียนมาด้านไหนบ้าง เหมือนกับว่าหากเราเข้าใจโจทย์ผิด คำตอบก็มีแนวโน้มผิดค่อนข้างสูง ดังนั้นวิธีการที่จะทำธุรกิจในเมียนมา สิ่งแรกที่ควรทำ คือ การปรับหรือการสร้างความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องกับตลาดเมียนมาก่อน เมื่อเข้าใจตลาดเมียนมาแล้ว สิ่งที่เป็นคำถามตามมา คือ ตัวเราสนใจทำธุรกิจแบบไหนในตลาดเมียนมา เนื่องจากโครงสร้างของตลาดเมียนมาจะมีความคล้ายกับประเทศไทยย้อนกลับไปประมาณ 40-50 ปี ซึ่งช่วงดังกล่าว ประเทศไทยอยู่ในยุคของการนิยมสินค้าจากต่างชาติ ระบบการผลิตสินค้าไทยยังไม่ได้มาตรฐาน สำหรับเมียนมาในขณะนี้ก็มีลักษณะเช่นนั้นเหมือนกัน คือ ต้องการซื้อสินค้าที่มาจากต่างประเทศเท่านั้น เพราะเชื่อว่าสินค้ามีมาตรฐานที่ดีกว่า มีคุณภาพดีกว่า ทั้งนี้ ความต้องการดังกล่าวของเมียนมา ส่วนใหญ่ก็จะอยู่ที่สินค้าปัจจัย 4 ซึ่งเป็นสินค้าที่ไทยมีศักยภาพอยู่แล้ว แต่ปัญหาอยู่ที่ว่าสินค้าที่เรามีนั้นสามารถแข่งขันกับคนอื่นๆ ได้หรือไม่ เพราะอย่าลืมว่า สภาพของประเทศเมียนมา กำลังการซื้อของประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ ก็ยังหนีไม่พ้นในเรื่องความต้องการสินค้าราคาถูก ดังนั้นสินค้าของไทยที่สามารถขายได้ในเมืองไทย ก็อาจจะมีราคาแพงในสายตาคนเมียนมา

Myanmar is proven to be a potential market, especially for Thai products, but the problem yet relies on how much does enterprise understand it and in which dimension. It is likely that the wrong answer will come up, if we start with the wrong question. Therefore, to conduct a business in Myanmar, the first thing you do is to adapt or create an accurate understanding about the market. The next question to follow is what kind of business we are interested in doing in Myanmar. The structure of the market is similar to Thailand roughly 40-50 years ago. And during that time, Thailand is keen to consume import products because the country’s manufacturing standard wasn’t yet in placed. Food Safety Culture  ในโรงงานอาหาร หมายถึง การที่ทุกคน ไม่ว่าเจ้าของ ผู้จัดการ หรือพนักงาน คิดและปฏิบัติอะไรและอย่างไรต่องานที่ได้รับมอบหมาย เพื่อประกันได้ว่าอาหารที่ผลิตมีความปลอดภัย และเกิดความภาคภูมิใจต่อตนเองในการเป็นส่วนร่วมของการผลิตอาหารปลอดภัยในทุกครั้ง ทั้งยังมีความตระหนักถึงคุณภาพอาหารที่ผลิตมีความปลอดภัยต่อการบริโภค การมี Food Safety Culture ที่เข้มแข็งย่อมส่งเสริมให้โรงงานอาหารบรรลุเป้าหมายทางความปลอดภัยอาหาร ส่งผลต่อความเชื่อมั่นและตอบสนองความพึงพอใจของผู้บริโภค การสร้าง Food Safety Culture ให้เกิดขึ้น พนักงานทุกคนในโรงงานอาหารต้องมีส่วนร่วม เข้าใจถึงความสำคัญของการผลิตอาหารปลอดภัย และมีพันธะสัญญาในการปฏิบัติเพื่อผลิตอาหารปลอดภัยอยู่ตลอดเวลา

Food safety culture in a food factory means that whether the owner, manager, or employee thinks and how they respond to assigned task to ensure that food is safe for consumption, and pride of themselves on being involved in the production of food safety at all times. Moreover, they also have an awareness of food quality which is safe for consumption (Food Standards Australia New Zealand). To have strong food safety culture can encourage food factory to achieve the goal of food safety, while also effect on consumer confidence and their satisfaction. To create food safety culture, all employees in food factory must be involved, understand the importance of food safety production, as well as have a practice commitment to produce safe food at all times.

 

Nevertheless, to make employees aware of the importance of non-food safety from their practice or familiar behavior in order to encourage them to change their inappropriate practice or behavior to appropriate manner for safety food production and in sustainably way, whether there are monitoring measure or not. It is not easy to change employee’s behavior, in particularly behavior that related to health and safety. Many factors such as, owner or top executive, manager or supervisor and all employees are involved with the change of behavior and employee’s practice to create food safety culture, make it strong and be sustainable.

Blockchain (บล็อกเชน) นับเป็นอัลกอริทึมประเภทหนึ่งสำหรับการสร้างฉันทามติ (Consensus) และเป็นหนึ่งในรูปแบบของ Distributed ledger ซึ่งบล็อกเชนจะบรรจุข้อมูลดิจิทัลที่ไม่สามารถทำการแก้ไขได้ โดย

ข้อมูลจะถูกนำมารวมกันในบล็อก (Block) แล้วแต่ละบล็อกก็จะร้อยเรียงต่อกันเป็นสายโซ่ (Chain)

 

บล็อกเชนได้ถูกพูดถึงกันอย่างกว้างขวางมากขึ้นในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในอุตสาหกรรมการเงินการธนาคาร แต่ในต่างประเทศหลายประเทศเทคโนโลยีที่ให้ความปลอดภัยแก่ข้อมูลอย่างสูงสุดนี้นั้นได้ถูกนำไปใช้ในหลากหลายอุตสาหกรรม และแน่นอนว่าอุตสาหกรรมอาหารซึ่งถือเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีขนาดใหญ่ก็มีการนำไปใช้ด้วยเช่นกัน โดยเฉพาะการนำมาใช้เพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นใจของผู้บริโภคในความปลอดภัยของอาหารตลอดห่วงโซ่ และอาจรวมไปถึงการใช้เพื่อการตลาดด้วย

 

บล็อกเชนคืออะไร

บล็อกเชนถือเป็น Distributed ledger technology ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ทุกคนที่อยู่ในกระบวนการผลิตอาหารสามารถบันทึกธุรกรรมต่างๆ ไว้ให้อยู่ในคลังข้อมูลที่ไม่ผูกขาดให้ฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งเป็นศูนย์กลาง โดยข้อมูลเหล่านั้นจะถูกบันทึกไว้ในเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์แทนการจดลงทันทึกไว้ในที่เดียว ธุรกรรมต่างๆ จะต้องได้รับการอนุมัติผ่านฉันทามติและคุ้มครองผ่านการเข้ารหัส รวมทั้งไม่สามารถปกปิดเป็นความลับได้ภายในระบบบล็อกเชน ซึ่งป้องกันไม่ให้มีคนใดคนหนึ่งแก้ไขหรือดัดแปลงข้อมูล ผู้ที่อยู่ในระบบบล็อกเชนก็จะสามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูลในระบบการผลิตทั้งหมดได้ เช่น เมื่อชาวไร่ข้าวสาลีบันทึกการขายข้าวสาลี จนเมื่อวันหนึ่งข้าวนั้นถูกนำไปดัดแปลงเป็นซีเรียลผ่านโรงสี ร้านค้าที่ซีเรียลนั้นจัดจำหน่ายอยู่ก็จะทราบข้อมูลทั้งหมดตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำ

Blockchain has been increasingly talked about in Thailand especially in financial sector, but in many countries, this ultimately safe data system has been applied to various industries already, not to mention a huge industry like the food industry. The technology has been used to ensure consumers about the safety of their food throughout the chain as well as to marketize the product.

 

What is Blockchain?

Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that allows all members of a supply chain to record transactions in a decentralized data log maintained on a network of computers, rather than a physical ledger or a single database. Transactions must be approved through consensus, and everything is secured through cryptography. A transaction is immutable once added to the blockchain, which prevents participants from manipulating or altering the records. Participants also all gain access to data across the supply chain. For example, as soon as a wheat farmer records a transfer of wheat — that will one day become cereal — to the mill, the grocery store will know about it.

 JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard) มาตรฐานการเกษตรของญี่ปุ่น จัดตั้งขึ้นโดยกระทรวงเกษตร ป่าไม้ และประมง (MAFF) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เป็นระบบการตรวจรับรองผลิตภัณฑ์โดยหน่วยงาน เช่น ผู้ผลิต ผู้ประกอบการหรือบุคคลที่สามที่ให้บริการตรวจประเมินและรับรองระบบตามข้อกำหนด เพื่ออนุญาตให้สินค้าที่ผ่านการรับรองสามารถใช้เครื่องหมายมาตรฐาน JAS ติดบนฉลากของผลิตภัณฑ์ได้

 

ซอสถั่วเหลืองญี่ปุ่น…หนึ่งในรายการสินค้ามาตรฐาน JAS

มาตรฐาน JAS ระบุว่าซอสถั่วเหลืองญี่ปุ่น หรือ “โชยุ” นั้นมีหลากหลายประเภท อาทิ “โคอิคุชิโชยุ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองแบบทั่วไป “อุซุคุจิโชยุ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองชนิดสีอ่อน “ทามาริโชยุ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองที่ใช้ข้าวสาลีเป็นวัตถุดิบในปริมาณต่ำหรือไม่ใช้เลย “ซาอิชิโคมิโชยุ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองที่ถูกนำกลับมาหมักซ้ำ “ชิโรโชยุ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองที่มีสีอ่อนกว่าอุซุคุจิโชยุ และ “คิอาเกะ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองดิบ โดยซอสถั่วเหลืองแต่ละชนิดจะมีลักษณะเฉพาะตัวที่ไม่เหมือนกันและยังใช้สำหรับอาหารที่แตกต่างกันด้วย

 

“คิอาเกะ” ซอสถั่วเหลืองดิบ

คือ โชยุที่ผลิตโดยไม่ผ่านกระบวนการให้ความร้อน ทำให้ซอสถั่วเหลืองมีรสชาติและกลิ่นน้อยกว่าปกติ รวมถึงยังส่งผลให้มีจุลินทรีย์ที่มีชีวิตและเอนไซม์ที่ทำงานได้คงเหลืออยู่อีกด้วย โชยุชนิดดังกล่าวจึงค่อนข้างมีความเป็นเอกลักษณ์และน่าสนใจ เนื่องจากเอนไซม์ที่เหลืออยู่นั้นเป็นประโยชน์ในการปรุงอาหาร เช่น เนื้อสัตว์ที่หมักด้วย “คิอาเกะ” ประมาณ 30 นาที สามารถลดกลิ่นที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ของเนื้อ และยังให้เนื้อสัมผัสที่นุ่มและชุ่มฉ่ำเมื่อเทียบกับการหมักด้วยซอสถั่วเหลืองประเภทอื่น

 

 

JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard) was established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. The JAS system is the certification system to allow to attach the JAS marks to the products which are produced and inspected by the only certified business entities such as producers, manufacturers or the others certified by the Registered Certifying Bodies of third party organization.  

 

Japanese Soy Sauce: One of the Items Listed in JAS Products

In terms of Japanese soy sauce, in JAS, “Shoyu” means soy sauce in Japanese which is classified into various types: Koikuchi shoyu (Common soy sauce), Usukuchi shoyu (Light color soy sauce), Tamari shoyu, Saishikomi shoyu (Refermented soy sauce), Shiro shoyu (Extra light color soy sauce) and Kiage (Raw soy sauce). Each type of soy sauce has its unique character and is selected to use for specific cuisines.

 

Raw Soy Sauce (Kiage)

Kiage (Raw soy sauce), on the other hand, is literally produced without heating process, microbes still remain as same as active enzymes, which cause particular soy sauce aroma and taste are less than common. Kiage is quite unique and interesting if the remaining enzymes usefully work on food stuff for cooking, for example, 30-minute marinated meat by Kiage can reduce unexpected meat smell together with enhance tender and juicy texture compare to another type of soy sauce.

ขั้นตอนการนำเข้าสินค้าของมาเลเซีย

กรมศุลกากรและกรมสรรพสามิตของมาเลเซียเป็นหน่วยงานรับผิดชอบในการเก็บภาษีทางอ้อม เช่น ภาษีศุลกากร (ภาษีนำเข้าและส่งออก) ภาษีสรรพสามิต ภาษีการขาย ภาษีบริการ ภาษีรถยนต์ รวมทั้งควบคุมการส่งสินค้าและสิ่งของที่เข้ามายังมาเลเซียหรือส่งออกจากมาเลเซีย

Malaysia’s Import Procedure

Malaysia’s Department of Customs and Department of Excise are organizations responsible for collecting indirect taxes such as custom tax (import and export tariffs), excise tax, sales tax, service tax, vehicle tax, as well as controlling import and export of goods and items to and from Malaysia.

 

The Customs Department and the Excise Department will cooperate with various agencies including those responsible for the authorization of import permits for alcoholic beverage, animal and animal products, healthy foods, meat and meat products, plants and plants products, poultry and poultry products.

The FSQD will conduct several missions including random surveys on location and facilities, licensing, and food contamination monitoring. However, ingredients declaration and labeling are designated for some products and are very strict for products containing pork and alcohol. Special care is required when following Malaysia’s regulation on food labeling.

 

Application Process for Halal Certification in Malaysia

Thai products that are exported for sale in the Malaysian market should obtain Halal label certified by the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, which is recognized by JAKIM (Department of Islamic Development Malaysia). Nevertheless, foreign enterprises can apply for Halal certification directly from JAKIM, though only for food products and cosmetics.
