                     The World Health Organization (WHO) states that the global population aged 65 and over is increasing
                     rapidly. In 2010, there were approximately 524 million people in this age group, and it is projected to rise
                     to 1.5 billion by 2050. In Thailand, the trend of an aging population is also steadily increasing. According
                     to the criteria for a “complete aged society”—defined as a country where more than 20% of the population
                     is aged 60 and over, or more than 14% is aged 65 and over—Thailand has already entered this category.
