Displaying of the term
“Premium”
กระทรวงสาธารณสุข กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ และกระทรวง
พาณิชย์ ได้มีนโยบายเชิงบูรณาการระหว่างหน่วยงานและภาคส่วนที่
เกี่ยวข้ อง เมื่อวันที่ 11 มกราคม พ.ศ.2556 โดยให้มีการผลักดันและ
ส่งเสริมศักยภาพการผลิ ตอาหารให้มีคุณภาพและความปลอดภัย
ครอบคลุมตลอดทั้งห่วงโซ่ พัฒนาศักยภาพของผู้ผลิต และยกระดับ
สินค้าให้สอดคล้องหรือเทียบเท่ามาตรฐานสากลเพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าทาง
เศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงส่ งเสริมการส่งออกสินค้า โดยทุกภาคส่วนต้ องมี
ส่วนร่ วมในการผลักดั นอย่ างจริงจั ง ในการนี้ สำนักงานคณะ
กรรมการอาหารและยาจึงได้กำหนดหลักเกณฑ์เกี่ ยวกับการแสดง
ข้อความ พรี เมียม” บนฉลากของผลิตภัณฑ์อาหาร เพื่อเป็นทาง
เลือกแก่ผู้บริโภค ซึ่ งผลิตภั ณฑ์อาหาร พรี เมียม” ต้องมี คุณภาพ
หรือมาตรฐานของผลิตภั ณฑ์ที่สูงกว่าหรือมีลักษณะเด่ นเป็นพิเศษ
กว่าผลิตภั ณฑ์ทั่วไป และต้องอาศั ยระบบการตรวจสอบรับรองที่
สามารถสืบย้อนกลับได้
The Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Agriculture
and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Commerce have
initiated an integrated policy among agencies and relevant
sectors on 11th January B.E.2556 (2013). This policy
encourages and promotes extensive quality and safety
throughout the food chain, as well as develops
manufacturers’ potential, and supports upgrading products
to comply with or be equivalent to international standards.
All of these aim to maximize economic value and promote
exports of the products. All relevant parties must actively
involved this effort. In this regard, the Food and Drug
Administration has established regulations for displaying
the term “Premium” on the labels of food products as an
alternative for consumers. A “Premium” food product must
have higher quality or standards than general counterpart
products, or have other special features; and the use of
“Premium” requires a certification system which builds in
traceability.
