สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมเครื่ องดื่มไทย ได้ เปิดเผยว่า ดร. อลิเซี ย
มอร์เทนเซน ประธานคณะทำงานด้ าน Food Additives and
Nutrient Sources Added to Foods (ANS) แห่งองค์การความ
ปลอดภัยของอาหารแห่งสหภาพยุโรป (EFSA) ได้แถลงถึงผลการศึกษา
ด้ านความปลอดภัยในการบริ โภคแอสพาร์แทมทั้ งในมนุ ษย์และ
สัตว์ ทดลอง ซึ่งพบว่าแอสพาร์ แทมเป็นวั ตถุเจื อปนอาหารที่ไม่ มีอันตรายใดๆ
Aspartame:
The study was led by Dr. Alicja Mortensen, chair of EFSA’s
Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient Sources Added to
Foods (ANS), and thoroughly examined the consumption of
aspartame by both laboratory animals and humans. The most in-
depth and comprehensive risk assessments of aspartame to date,
the study is expected to boost consumer confidence in aspartame-
sweetened beverages.

สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมเครื่ องดื่มไทยได้เปิ ดเผยผลการศึกษาขององค์การ
ความปลอดภัยของอาหารแห่งสหภาพยุโรป (The European Food Safety
Authority; EFSA) เกี่ยวกั บแอสพาร์แทม ซึ่ งเป็ นสารให้ความหวานแทน
น้ำตาลชนิ ดหนึ่งที่ใช้ กันอย่างแพร่หลายในผลิ ตภั ณฑ์เครื่องดื่มชนิดไม่ มี
พลังงานว่ ามีความปลอดภั ยต่อการบริโภคและไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพ
แต่อย่างใด ทั้งนี้ ผลการศึกษานี้สอดคล้องกั บความเห็นของนักวิ ทยาศาสตร์
และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสุ ขภาพทั่วโลกที่มีมาอย่างยาวนาน และเป็นเครื่ องยืนยั น
ถึงความปลอดภัยของแอสพาร์ แทมได้เป็นอย่างดี
The Thai Beverage Industry Association (TBA) today
welcomes the EFSA opinion, published in early December
2013, which reconfirms that aspartame is safe. EFSA’s
scientific experts have thoroughly investigated and reviewed
all available data on aspartame, a sweetener commonly used
in zero-calorie beverages and has concluded that aspartame
poses no safety concern for consumers. The results of this
study are aligned with the opinions of numerous scientists and
healthcare professionals worldwide and, in effect, guarantee
aspartame’s safety.
