2013” โดยวิทยากรระดั บบริหารจากองคกรชั้ นนำทั่ วโลกในหลากหลาย
ประเด็นรอนเกี่ยวกั บอาหาร อาทิ ความปลอดภั ยของอาหาร เทรนดอาหาร
มาแรง การแปรรูปของเสี ยจากกระบวนการผลิ ตอาหาร ทิศทางอาหาร-
ฮาลาลในตลาดโลก เทคโนโลยีบรรจุภัณฑแหงอนาคต เปนตน

UBM Asia spent over THB 40 million in organising
Food ingredients Asia 2013, as Asia’s leading food
ingredients exhibition that showcased the most
advanced food ingredients innovations from around
the world, with the aim of supporting Thai food
producers. The size of the event venue increased by
75% as more than 500 companies from 40 countries
across the globe showed strong interest in exhibiting.
A turnover of more than THB 3,000 million is
expected, indicating a rising trend in low-calorie food,
natural food additives and healthy food.
T he exhibition showcased a lot of interesting food technologies,
especially natural food additives, colouring, flavouring and
healthy nutrients. Moreover, the event offered seminars on
the food industry to visitors who are interested in upgrading their
food business to international standards. Such seminars included
Meeting Global Challenges in the Development of Functional Food
Ingredients, held by FoSTAT, and Mega Trends 2013, an international
conference that invited speakers in executive positions from leading
global organisations to discuss hot issues such as food safety, rising
food trends, waste conversion in the food production processes, the
trend of halal food in the world market and the packaging technology
of the future.
