เ นื่ องจากภาคการส งออกได รั บผลกระทบจากป ญหาวิ กฤต
หนี้สาธารณะในยุโรป และการชะลอตั วของเศรษฐกิจจีน ซึ่งถื อเปน
ตลาดสงออกที่สำคัญของเวียดนาม ทั้งนี้ เวียดนามมีการพึ่งพารายไดจาก
การสงออกคอนข างสูง แตขณะเดี ยวกันก็มีการพึ่ งพาการนำเขาสินคา-
ปจจัยการผลิตจากต างประเทศอยางเขมขน จึงทำใหเวี ยดนามมีปญหา
การขาดดุลการค าและดุ ลบั ญชี เดินสะพัดในระดั บสูงอย างตอเนื่ อง
นอกจากนี้ ปญหาความนาเชื่อถือของธนาคารพาณิ ชย และอัตราเงินเฟอ
ที่ยั งคงสูง ก็เปนอีกปจจัยหนึ่ งที่จะสงผลตอความมั่นใจของนั กลงทุนและ
เสถียรภาพของเศรษฐกิจในระยะยาว
V ietnam’s economy is continuing to grow but at a slower rate
since the export sector has been affected by the European debt
crisis and a slowdown in the Chinese economy which are the
major export markets of Vietnam. Indeed, Vietnamese dependence on
income from exports is relatively high but the dependence on imports
of foreign production inputs is also quite intensive. As a result, Vietnam
has trade deficit and the current account deficit that continue at a high
level. In addition, the reliability issue of banks and inflation rate are
still critical. These are other factors that will affect the confidence of
investors and the stability of the economy in the long run.
Economic Situation in 2012
Vietnam’s economy in the first quarter of 2012 gives the GDP growth
rate of 4.0% (YoY). This is the minimal growth in the past 3 years
while the rate of inflation in May rose only 0.18% (MoM) and 8.34%
(YoY) as a result of the tight monetary policy. However, Vietnam has
cut interest rates three times in the first 5 months down to 12%. The
country also approved tax measures to help businesses, such as the
reduction in corporate tax to 30% and so on. The trade deficit in the
first five months totaled approximately USD 620 million which was
down from the previous period. The Vietnamese central bank has
announced a line of credit bank loan which depends on the reliability
level of each bank. This reflects the efforts of credit control and the
concern of non-performing loan rate of the central bank of Vietnam.
In terms of foreign investment in the first five months, it was down
by 0.2% as compared to the same period last year, with a value of
USD 4.51 billion.

เศรษฐกิจของเวียดนามในช วงไตรมาสแรกของป 2555 มี การขยายตั ว
ของ GDP ที่รอยละ 4.0 (YoY) ถือวาเปนชวงที่ มีการขยายตั วนอยที่สุ ด
ในรอบ 3 ป อัตราเงิ นเฟอในชวงเดือนพฤษภาคมเพิ่มขึ้ นเพียงรอยละ 0.18
(MoM) และ 8.34 (YoY) อันเปนผลของการดำเนินนโยบายการเงิ นที่รัดกุม
อยางไรก็ดี เวี ยดนามประกาศลดอัตราดอกเบี้ยถึง 3 ครั้งในชวง 5 เดือนแรก
ลงมาอยูที่รอยละ 12 รวมทั้งอนุมัติ มาตรการทางภาษีเพื่อชวยเหลือธุรกิจ
ในประเทศ เชน การลดภาษีนิ ติ บุคคลลงร อยละ 30 เปนต น ตั วเลขการ
ขาดดุลการค าในชวง 5 เดือนแรกมีมู ลคารวมประมาณ 620 ลานเหรี ยญสหรัฐฯ
ซึ่งลดลงจากชวงกอนหนา ทั้งนี้ ธนาคารกลางเวียดนามไดประกาศกำหนด
วงเงินสินเชื่อปลอยกูของธนาคารพาณิ ชยซึ่งขึ้นอยูกับระดับความนาเชื่อถือ
