การตรวจสอบสิ่งปลอมปนในสิ นคาแบบหลายเลน
ในกรณี ที่ บรรจุสินค าใสเป นถุงเล็กๆ (เช น ขนาดประมาณถุ งละ 10-20 ชิ้ น
ความกว างถุงละประมาณ 10-15 เซนติเมตร) ซึ่งมั กจะบรรจุมาจากเครื่องบรรจุ
หลายๆ เครื่อง กรณีนี้แทนที่ เราจะลงทุนไปกับเครื่องเอ็ กซเรย หลายเครื่องตาม
จำนวนไลนการบรรจุ เราสามารถพิจารณาออกแบบไลน การตรวจสอบใหเปน
แบบลำเลียงถุงสินค าเขาสู เครื่องเอ็ กซเรย และทำการตรวจสอบแบบพรอมกัน

for contamination may not be a worthwhile investment. And this is why
we should study the x-ray machine’s other abilities before making the
choice to buy to make the adaptation worthwhile and fully efficient, so
it can be used for other purposes than checking for contamination only,
which can already be done simultaneously, as shown in the following
example:
Integrity Inspection
Candy product samples in blister packages, which are certainly at
risk for errors in the packaging process, may be missing, broken or
chipped. The integrity inspection may not be able to be carried out by
using a dynamic checkweigher because each piece of candy weighs
so little in combination with the uncertain weight of the package
(especially aluminum foil sheets used to close the back of the blister
packages which tend to not have the same thickness) including the
conveying restrictions requiring smoothness and minimal obstacles for
the weighing to yield the most accurate results.
In this case, we can adapt the use of x-rays in the integrity check of
the candy in each package by selecting a zone for each candy and then
performing the integrity inspection by considering the density of each
zone. Furthermore, we can detect the perfection of individual candy to
see whether it is broken or chipped; the results of the inspection by an
x-ray machine are much more accurate than other methods.
Multi-Lane Checking
In cases where the product is packed into small bags (for example,
10-15 cm. wide bags, containing 10-20 pieces in each bag), usually by
several fillers, instead of investing in as many x-ray machines as the
filling lines, we can consider designing the inspection line to convey the
bags through the x-ray machine and check several lanes at the same
time to save time and budget by having the machine check and freely
separating contaminated packages from each lane.
In terms of design, we need to consider the size of the package
by comparing it to the scan width; for example, a 40 cm scan width, if
we need to check products in 10 cm wide bags, we may split the bags
into three lanes, namely, by having the machine check three bags at
the same time. Or if the bags are 15 cm wide, we may split the bags
into two lanes which can be checked at the same time. Products that
are suitable for multi-lane checking are usually snacks or ice-cream
in small packages.
Mass Check or Fill Level Check
Although the results may not be as accurate as a dynamic checkweigher,
X-ray machines can also be used for mass checking or fill level checking.
The x-ray’s margin for error is approximately +/-5% (while the dynamic
checkweigher’s margin for error is approximately +/-0.5%). Therefore,
x-ray machines can be used for mass checking or fill level checking
when the defects are clear such as when a bag is missing more than
half the amount or when it has not been filled at all.
Apart from detecting hazardous contamination such as scrap
metal and glass fragments, the above examples demonstrate that
x-ray machines can also be used simultaneously for other checks. By
performing the said checks at the same time, the products will only
have to go through the radiation line once.

ในการตรวจสอบดานอื่ นๆ ควบคูกั นไปดวยได โดยการตรวจสอบดั งกลาว
