เมื่อพูดถึงงานบำรุงรักษา ก็ทำให้นึกถึงงานช่างที่เต็มไปด้วยคราบน้ำมัน การถอดประกอบที่ยุ่งยาก ซับซ้อน การแก้ปัญหาที่ไม่รู้จักจบจักสิ้น การเลือกอะไหล่ทดแทนต่างๆ ให้เหมาะสม การลงทุนมากหรือน้อยที่จะเกิดขึ้น เวลาที่ต้องหยุดการผลิตและใช้บำรุงรักษา ประสบการณ์ที่มีมาจะช่วยแก้ปัญหาที่เจอได้มากน้อยแค่ไหน แล้วจะหาผู้เชี่ยวชาญมาช่วยแก้ปัญหายากๆ นี้ได้จากที่ไหน
ความคิดเหล่านี้เป็นเพียงส่วนหนึ่งที่ทีมงานบำรุงรักษาจะต้องเผชิญและต้องทำให้รวดเร็ว ไม่เช่นนั้นเครื่องจักรจะไม่สามารถผลิตชิ้นงานได้ หรือทำให้ต้นทุนการผลิตสูง ธุรกิจก็จะเดินต่อไม่ได้ งานบำรุงรักษาจึงเปรียบเสมือนกับงานปิดทองหลังพระ ทำดีก็แค่เสมอตัว หากทำไม่ดีก็โดนตำหนิ
ปัญหาเรื่องเครื่องจักรที่ทุกโรงงานมีประสบการณ์
หากมองตั้งแต่ต้นกระบวนการตั้งโรงงาน คงต้องเริ่มจากการวางเป้าหมายผลิตภัณฑ์ที่จะผลิต การออกแบบกระบวนการผลิตทั้งหมด การเลือกซื้อเครื่องจักรและอุปกรณ์ที่ต้องใช้ ส่วนการวางแผนบำรุงรักษามักจะมาเริ่มต้นหลังจากสั่งซื้อเครื่องจักรแล้ว เปรียบแล้วเหมือนคนซื้อไม่ได้ใช้ คนใช้ไม่ได้ซื้อ แถมหากคนออกแบบเครื่องจักรไม่มีประสบการณ์การผลิตจริงที่มากพอ การออกแบบจะตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของการคำนวณอย่างง่ายร่วมกับประสบการณ์ที่มีมา ยิ่งทำให้เมื่อมีการใช้งานเครื่องจักรก็จะเกิดปัญหาหลายอย่างตามมา อันอาจจะเป็นผลให้ทีมงานบำรุงรักษาต้องซ่อมเครื่องจักรดังกล่าวแทบจะทุกวันจนเครื่องพังไปเลยก็เคยมีมาแล้ว คงไม่มีใครอยากเจอสภาวะแบบนี้ เพราะจะทำให้เกิดค่าใช้จ่ายแอบแฝงจำนวนมาก เสียเวลามาก และมีความเสี่ยงทางธุรกิจสูง
When it comes to maintenance work, it calls attention to a job that is full of oil stains, burdensome and complicated assembly, problem solving endlessly, then single out the right replacement parts. It is also getting to consider more or less of an investment, length of time to shut down for maintenance. How much of an available experience can solve the problem facing? Where can we find an expertise to help solve difficult problems?
These ideas are just a part that the maintenance team will have to face and act immediately, otherwise, the machine will not be able to manufacture a workpiece. Or else, the cost of production is so high that the business will not be able to go on. Maintenance work, therefore, is like a thankless job. No praiseful if you do it, blamed if you don’t!
Machinery problems experienced by every factory
If you look at the factory process from the beginning, it has to start with the targeted products for manufacturing, the design of all production process, the machinery and equipment required. Maintenance planning usually starts after the machine is ordered. It seems like the buyer is not the one who operates the machine, whereas the operator is not the one who decides what to buy. Plus, if the machine designer does not have enough experience on actual productions, the design herein is based only on simple calculations, combined with an earning experience. As a result, many problems will be followed when the machine is running. Subsequently, the maintenance team has to repair the machine almost every day until it breaks down. Surely, no one wants to meet this situation which will cause many hidden costs, time consuming and high business risk.
